Hotels, aparthotels, motels and restaurants provide places to stay and eat. Akyarlar village is 8.5 km from central Turgutreis and is easily reached by dolmuş minibus.

Shades of red and blue create an ever-changing scene, while the scent of citrus fills the evening air. Sunset Beach lies in central Turgutreis, within easy reach of all our guests.
Aspat Beach

Aspat, 2 km from Karaincir, is known for its cave, a former refuge for Genoese pirates, as well as a broad sandy beach and crystal-clear water. It also provides an anchorage for yachts. Follow the path through the ruins to the hilltop castle, where sweeping views reward the climb. The peaceful atmosphere of the sea extends across the open land behind the beach. Aspat Bay is 11 km from central Turgutreis.
Meteor Beach

Meteor Beach lies 7.5 km south of Turgutreis. Palm trees line its shore, and its clear sea and tropical appearance make it one of the area's most inviting bays for holidaymakers.
Karaincir Beach

Sheltered by hills on both sides, Karaincir's fine sandy beach offers a calm retreat from the wind. Enjoy local dishes at the quiet beachfront restaurants and the peaceful sounds of the sea. Karaincir Bay is 9.6 km from central Turgutreis, with regular dolmuş minibus services from town.
Çatal Island

Çatal Island lies 1.5 nautical miles west of Turgutreis and is distinguished by its prominent hills. A lighthouse on its northern side has the characteristic Fl(4) 20s 6M. A beach fronts the low ground between the two hills, with an anchorage in depths of 4–6 metres. The area south of the beach also offers anchorage, with the option of taking a line ashore. The seabed consists of sand and seagrass.
The meltemi wind can sometimes blow strongly from behind the beach. A line ashore provides additional security for boats at anchor. The water is very clear, and there is a jetty south of the beach. A short walk ashore reveals the island's western coast and the open sea, while the higher hills offer views over the anchorage. It is a restful island, with Turgutreis opposite providing access to supplies.
Kuyruk Island and Yassıada lie to the south. The waters around Yassıada contain many old and more recent wrecks, which can be difficult to spot, especially in rough weather. Following archaeological excavation, finds from the Byzantine wreck were displayed at the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology. Strong currents occur in this area.
Navigate with particular care in the waters around Çatal Island, especially at night. Watch for the rocks off the island's northern shore, and exercise caution around Çobanada, Tüllüceada and Sarıot islands to the southeast and the surrounding shallows.
Dive boats departing from Turgutreis arrange guided trips outside areas where diving is prohibited, offering the chance to explore the underwater scenery in clear water.
Palamut Beach

Palamut Beach is 4.5 km from central Turgutreis. Its fine sand and exceptionally clear sea leave a lasting impression on visitors.
Akçabük Beach

Akçabük is a bay 7.5 km from Turgutreis, with a beautiful sandy beach and sparkling sea. Holiday homes and Akçabük Holiday Village line the bay, which lies between Akyarlar village and Meteoroloji Bay. Daily boat trips visit nearby bays in summer, and the area is suitable for water sports.
The island of Kos lies 3 nautical miles opposite Akçabük Bay. Its houses are visible in clear weather, and the view of Kos is especially beautiful at night.
